Songo.Info aims to uplift disadvantaged youth through encouraging a passion for sport within a community. Envisioned by World Marathon MTB Champion, Christoph Sauser    and supported by local community leader and athlete, Songo Fipaza, the Kayamandi BMX track was built in partnership with JAG Foundation.

In February 2008 the JAG Foundation  teamed up with Christoph Sauser and SA Mountain Bike Champion, Burry Stander, to raise funds to build the BMX track in the Stellenbosch township Kayamandi.  Christoph and Burry participated in the 2008 ABSA Cape Epic as the SONGO.INFO team. Through their Epic efforts, SONGO.INFO team raised funds and awareness for the BMX track. With sponsorship from  PPA ( PEDAL POWER ASSOCIATION), ABSA and Stellenbosch Municipality, sufficient funds were raised and the BMX track was built  in June 2008. The track was oficially launched in Sep 2008 and it is now being used on regular basis by nearly 80 children from Kayamandi.
