New York Road Runners Foundation (NYRRF):

New York Road Runners Foundation provides free fitness and character-building programs to children in underserved communities throughout the United States.

In April 2007 New York Road Runners Foundation and JAG Foundation teamed up to achieve the common goal of youth development through sport and education, only this time in South Africa.

NYRRF is one of the main partners of Mighty Meters programme and it’s due to NYRRF continuous support that this initiative has seen 24,000 kids joining since its launch in 2007.

ABSA:

Absa is a title sponsor for the ABSA Cape Epic, 8 day stage MTB race in South Africa. The JAG Foundation is the official charity of the ABSA Cape Epic. Each year a group of chosen celebrity riders sponsored by Absa participate in the race to raise awareness and funds for the JAG Foundation. Thanks to Absa’s contribution each year children on the Mighty Metres programme benefit substantially.

ABSA’s support in the past also included a substantial donation of R50, 000 to SONGO.INFO project by Christoph Sauser in partnership with JAG. Donated funds were instrumental in the development of Kayamandi BMX track.

Bokomo ProNutro:

Bokomo Foods is an integral part of Pioneer Foods, the 2nd largest food group in South Africa. ProNutro is the most nutritious family cereal in South Africa.

 In June 2008, Bokomo ProNutro came on board as a title sponsor for JAG’s new running programme, ProNutro JAGRunners.

 ProNutro’s sponsorship of the programme included a cash injection in order to allow for development and sustainability as well as product sponsorship to bring the biggest SA home brand closer to the new generation of consumers and future runners.

City of Cape Town:

City of Cape Town is the local government addressing: economic and social development, service delivery, tourism, planning and environment.

City of Cape Town has been involved with the JAG Foundation since 2009 and their main support includes sponsorship of the ProNutro JAG Runners programme by offering transport to events and entry fees to 10 different fun runs for 480 children per race over the duration of one year.

Let's Play :

Let’s Play is a corporate social responsibility initiative developed by Super Sport and partners in response to a National need: to motivate and encourage children to continue being active. The organization aims to elevate awareness of South Africa’s social situation and to introduce and encourage play, activity and sport in schools and at home.

JAG Foundation formed an alliance with Let’s Play in 2007 and since then Let’s Play have been actively involved in exposing development and progress of the JAG’s initiatives in both running and riding codes.

Runner’s World Magazine:

South African running magazine describing the latest events and training tips. Aims to provide practical information and encouragement for runners of all levels.
In mid 2007 Runner’s World proposed to adopt the JAG Foundation as its CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiative based on the synergy between what the JAG Foundation does in the field of development running and how Runner’s World can endorse it and promote it to its core audience: passionate runners.

The Old Mutual Zeekoevlei Sailing Centre:

Zeekoevlei Sailing Centre, under the direction of David Rae, makes accessible the sport of sailing, with its related life skills, to schools and communities in the formerly-disenfranchised communities closest to Zeekoevlei and the False Bay Ecology Park, as well as communities in the Cape Town South Peninsula area.”

The Sunflower Fund:

The Sunflower Fund aims to educate and recruit a viable source of well-informed potential bone marrow stem cell donors who are ethnically diverse, in an effort to save the lives of those needing a transplant when suffering from life-threatening blood disorders. It strives to maintain the associated donor records of the South African Bone Marrow Registry.

The ABSA Cape Epic :

The Absa Cape Epic presented by adidas takes place every year around the last week of March and the first week of April. The race is held over 8 days and includes a time-trial prologue. The route changes every year, and leads aspiring amateur and professional mountain bikers from around the world through approximately 800 kilometres of the unspoilt nature of the Western Cape and up approximately 16 000m of climbing over some of the most magnificent passes in South Africa.

Sports Science Institute Of South Africa:

The foundations to the Sports Science Institute were laid in April 1994, at the same time as those of the new South Africa. The idea for a Sports Science Institute to develop sport in South Africa was initially generated by way of extensive interaction between Morné du Plessis, Professor Tim Noakes and Johann Rupert.

This interaction resulted in the formulation of a vision to provide a facility for South Africa that would contribute to the fostering of understanding and unification across the country. This would be achieved by increasing the level of performance of all our sports people, encouraging support for our sportsmen and women across all cultures and groups.

Stellenbosch Municipality:

Stellenbosch Municipality governs STELLENBOSCH, PNIEL and FRANSCHHOEK areas. This Municipality granted the land access for the BMX track which enabled this sporting facility to become reality. The Stellenbosch Municipality team have set a fine example of how, with the team work of committed people things happen.  Stellenbosch Municipality raised the bar for many other municipal structures.

Run 4 Schools:

Founded in 2004, the foundation offers children daily sports activities by organising and financing proven sports programmes at primary schools in the Cape Town township of Mitchell’s Plain.

Urban Issues:

Urban Issues facilitates social dialogue that equips people with the means to bridge social, economic and other prejudicial divides. The company has set up a charitable trust called The Urban Issues Trust which provides financial and related support to strategic social development initiatives.

TAG Rugby SA:

TAG Rugby promotes interaction between genders and tolerance and respect for one another. It also takes away the need for schools to have expensive equipment and facilities as the game can be played on any surface.

Gayton McKenzie :

Once a criminal, Gayton Mckenzie witnessed something that changed his life. Now, instead of committing further crimes, Mckenzie has a dream of cleaning up the streets where he grew up through motivational talks to children and adults alike.

Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation (TLPF):

Tegla Loroupe, a renowned Kenyan born world record marathon runner, established the Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation in 2003 to promote peace through sports among communities in conflict in the Greater Horn of Africa.

The Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon presented by Nike:
